Looks like it is being run down. Most of the good staff have left and those who have stayed have had there hours cut by the current owners. Even the post office inside was closed last weekend.its a pity because it used to be a great shop, now it needs closing and hopefully new owners who have a different attitude.
Great for a quick shop for essentials, slightly more expensive than big supermarket but convenient
Staff are always really rude. Closes at random times when its supposed to be open. The manager refused to serve me cigarette papers when i didnt have my ID. Fair enough. But he made a point of loudly chastising me saying i looked 14 and there was no way i was over 18, did i think he was stupid ect. I'm 26. It was humiliating. Then today the staff completely ripped the packaging of a discount item i brought to the till and refused to ring up a replacement item at the same price, and as usual was totally rude about it. Although the girl that actually served me and ripped the item by accident wasnt rude, the women she asked what to do was.
I love this shop. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Products all good hot food also good. Well done
