   Bought a lava lamp from there. Stopped working after a month. Extremely disappointing as it wasn’t cheap either and i tried to get new bulbs but still didn’t work.

   This is the worst store I have ever dealt with. I bought a USB cup warmer from this Menkind store, and before purchasing, I specifically asked the staff whether the product worked as advertised. The customer support person told me, “I have never used it, but I think it will work, and if you are not happy, you can return it.” However, when I tested the product, my cup didn’t get warm. I waited for 20 minutes, and it still didn’t work. When I went back to the store to return the product, they refused, saying it could not be returned after being used. But how can anyone know if a product works without testing it? The staff then claimed the cup warmer would take 30 minutes to an hour to heat the cup. Seriously? What’s the point of a USB cup warmer if it takes that long? I could just use a microwave to heat a cup in 2-3 minutes. To make matters worse, they asked me to wait for an hour in the store to test the product again. Do they think customers have nothing else to do but stay in the store to test faulty products? To top it all off, they took the product and refused to return it to me. I was left with nothing but my receipt and had to leave empty-handed. This store is clearly cheating customers by not honoring refunds, even for a £10 product. Absolutely unacceptable!

   My mum ordered a record player for my dad's birthday told 3 to 8 working days for delivery 3 weeks later no update no sorry no record player thanks to amazon for saving the day for my dad's 75th birthday! Terrible company and won't be shopping here for sure!

   Menkind is one of those shops where its unfortunately just okay. Its brilliant for stocking fillers and low priced gadgets that are not necessarily of high quality. I've rated it 3 stars because it has some good products and its always nice to have a quick look in the shop. If you want higher quality gadgets then unfortunately you will have to go elsewhere. Additionally, at the weekends the shop can get incredibly bus throughout a lot of the opening times.

   Fund some bizarre fun or baby stuff here so good for gadgets and gimmicks. My only two gripes is the store is kind of small so when it gets crowded you have to shuffle and navigate trying to browse. Always very busy when I been.
