We had been having problems with our mains smoke detectors, one of them definitely needed replacing. Turns out they no longer make our model of smoke detector, so decided to go down the battery powered route. I was told that the make I brought would link using the wireless audio link, wasn't until after I installed them that I realised they dont link without extra hardware. I rang the shop and explained how disappointed I was that I had been wrongly advised, all I got was a sorry, I wasn't in a position to uninstall the smoke detectors and wasn't offered any extra help to rectify their ill advice.... very very poor customer service.
