   Went to booked party from firm first sight was viewing padock of beautiful race horses walking round I picked my first runner never been before never bet but liked the look of her was busy lively atmosphere when entered reception areas inside full betting and visual screens I went to outside touts they are cash inside mostly card payments spacious seating and table bar service we were in function room dj dance floor decent size 10 plus tables street food availble chicken is nice !

   We stayed in Holiday Inn room overlooking the parade ring. Daughter loved it. Lovely racecourse. Really laid back evening. Good value. Lots of seating inside. Bookmakers all indoor too.

   Not the most sophisticated racecourse I've been to but once you get over that the viewing is excellent and the racing was competitive. Food was awful, had a pie mash and peas but the mash and peas were cold and service was painfully slow. Access to bookies was good but avoid the grumpy Williams bookie who wasn't interested in our custom until we wanted to place a larger bet

   I love Wolverhampton and have had some fantastic times here but today l was very disappointed. Only one food outlet open, everyone was complaining. We paid full price for the meeting, only 6 races! One race only had 2 horses in it! I thought, as advertised it would be a fabulous night! No, no no! I'm sad to say. I must have missed something, far to many meetings on the same day/night! No many people there.

   We went for an event and it was very nice. The place is very big. If you go there for an event there is lots of land. They had food trucks, we didn't go inside the building so can only comment on the actual land for events. The car park was quite big and they had people guiding you to where you should park. It was helpful because once we got our ticket we had to drive right to the bottom and it was 100% clear if we go left or right but we noticed a man in an orange jacket who pointed out where to park.
