I went in for a small breakfast this morning Great atmosphere lovely staff Food was delicious & hot greatly priced too
On a wet Wednesday having walked through Arnold having dropped the car off for a check up, as the rain started up again I thought why not just stop off, grab some breakfast and a coffee and let it pass. I don't know Arnold's cafes too well, and would have popped to a nearby offering had it been open. Fortunately Refresh was and from walking through the door to leaving it was a wonderful experience. The owner was welcoming, breakfast and coffee delicious and great value and I was blessed with being able to work a bit, eat a bit, whilst watching various customers arrive, be made to feel at home, all known and greeted by the owner, mostly having "the usual", and all clearly having a wonderful experience. The place is a proper community with a lovely low key atmosphere. Unpretentious, tasty, top value and all down to a gracious and generous owner. I travel a lot for work, often stopping off at a local cafe to pitstop and refresh - I wish all experiences were like this one.
Came For Breakfast absolutely Amazing Staff So So Friendly, Had A Lovely Chat With Them And Atmosphere Was So Nice And Calm, music very Welcoming Amd Chilled, Food Was Great! Coffee Was Perfect! Definitely Coming Again!
Lovely cafe in the heart of Arnold with a really good selection in the menu and speciality coffees. Service was really friendly and excepcional food and price. A lovely place to have a small bite or a full English breakfast. Never to miss it!
Absolutely disgusted in the customer service given today when visiting Refresh cafe in Arnold. I’ve visited this cafe a few times before and have enjoyed thier breakfast menu but after today I will never go again!! Me and my friend ordered a coffee, panini and a jacket potato for our 6 year old girls. Firstly our latee came out with with lumps on top, which we thought might of been curdled milk, when the lady came out with food we asked if we could leave the coffee and have a refund which the server agreed and said she understood why.. Then in my daughters jacket potato I noticed what looks like curly hair running threw the beans, when the boss came out with the rest of the food she asked what was wrong with the coffee which I explained and showed her my daughter jacket potato which she replied ‘that’s not hair, that’s from the cleaning scourer’ I told her I can’t give that my daughter and before I could ask for something else instead she’s picked up all the food, and said ‘I will give you a refund for everything, can you leave’ I can understand if we was rude about the situation, but we wasn’t. Even tho the panini barely had any cheese and onion on, we was hungry and was happy to eat it but didn’t have a choice as she took all the food away. My friend didn’t even have chance to look at hers and her daughters food before she rudely took the food and asked us to leave! When she came out with the money, I asked her why she’s took all the food and what she was implying… her response was ‘I’ve had customers all morning and no complaints, here’s your refund and just leave’ i took a picture of the coffee, I told her she was very rude, and I will be leaving a review to warn others and left! I won’t be going back there and advise others to avoid! I just don’t understand why she was so rude over her own mistake, she could of easily replaced the food but instead gave us a refund we didn’t ask for.. in hindsight It was probably best we was given a refund instead of becoming sick off the food!
Haven't given it 5* because im ultra critical nothing wrong with cafe always go there nice warm atmosphere been to another one round corner this one miles better.
A very small cafe on the market place in Arnold. We went for breakfast and had the Mega breakfast. We were amazed by the amount of choice and the amount food we received. It was hot, well cooked and great value for money.
Always come to this little cafe. Very friendly and nothing too much trouble. Food Very plentiful and always nice.
5 stars just for the cute girl with the piercings. Her panini made me see god and her dance moves are bussin’. Filled up my belly and taught me how to dougie at the same time. Moonwalk like no other, honestly deserves a raise before she’s snapped up by diversity. Slay.
