Warning - This cafe is not family friendly. The guy who works there is miserable and has been rude to me and my family (paying customers!) on more than one occasion! If you are visiting the childrens playground then I urge you to take your own food and drinks with you, and do not go in the cafe. I certainly will not be going in there again until there is a change of ownership.

Our regular Sunday morning slot, always welcoming and a super hot coffee and banter! Great selection always available to cover any cravings!

I cant comment on the food as I only went in for a cup of tea but it was the best take away cafe cuppa I've had. This was largely down to being asked how I wanted it and then it being made to my liking. The staff were also super lovely. I was only in the cafe for a few minutes, but I left smiling, and with a proper lovely brew. Thank you

Today was the first time visiting, although the park was excellent clean welcoming and safe . The cafe on the the other hand I have mixed opinions, the food is of good standard hot and served promptly although food choices do not cover anything for under one’s I was prepared to buy chips to try my 9month old with but the fryer was not on they also did not serve brown bread The crisp selection was not suitable ether so I let my daughter order her panini and we had drinks and ice creams buying a good amount of food. Whilst the baby was well behaved I gave her a x1 crisp from her change bag to which the guy practacly jumped the counter to tell me we could only eat food brought there To which I replied you have nothing suitable for a 9month old he said we can warm baby food my baby is baby lead weaning and eats normal food But I let this go Only to watch the person in charge apparently and the woman on shift with him on there phones oblivious to another customer who pulled out the sandwich box Polity spoken but Should not work with customers

Visited today. Only brought ice creams for the kids so can’t comment on the food etc but the customer service from 1 male employee was below expectations. I understand having a bad day, being worn out and tired etc but I’ve done that role and his manners, service and attitude were appalling! I don’t expect 5 star service but just polite would be nice! I’ll be honest when I visit next I won’t be using the cafe there.

Nice Cafe now it's finally open. Friendly staff and good choice of hold and cold drinks. Good range of snacks too for the kids. Basic seating inside/outside but with the Cafe being in the middle of the park you can grab a snack and sit in the park!

Bring a picnic and all you need is the sun, there's a swimming baths at the entrance, a good park for all ages, skate park and outdoor waterpark, really cheap day out and if your going to let the weather spoil it for you because you cannot wait to get skin cancer, piss of to Spain.

Friendly staff and reasonably priced ice cream. Some of the ice lollies at Markeaton park are twice the price! Think we are lucky to have a cafe at our local park.

What a shame! It's great to have a cafe on the park but they really don't care about the quality of the food and drinks they serve. The filter coffee tastes like flavoured hot water and they don't seem to mind serving stale teacakes either. If this cafe we're anywhere else it wouldn't survive.

Great food and service. Excellent prices considering park location. Sells bluebells ice cream and has a wide range of choice. The cafe allows both indoor and outdoor seating where you can watch the children play on the park area. If the weather is good amazing location next to the splash pad. Well worth the visit.
