Visited as a last min decision so the kids could run around the soft play area whilst their mum and auntie could have a natter and a drink. Ended up ordering some burgers and a pudding each, which were all hot and delicious. Very much needed after such a cold winter walk! Would especially like to thank Courtney for being so friendly and attentive, lovely woman :-)

Always eat here! Jan and Jake (the cooks) make the best onion ring horse shoe! The salmon is always cooked to perfection and so is the steak! Service is always friendly and always willing to help!

Came here while on a family vacation and was very excited as we loved coming here when we were younger. Unfortunately the food was a huge letdown. The lasagna was mushy and had no flavour, referring to it as tasting like canned spaghetti I had as a child. The best part of the meal was the getting the cheesy garlic ciabatta bread on the side. Was hoping for a much better experience and left feeling very disappointed.

Hot food! friendly service and reasonable price. Nice area too, good views and dog friendly. The staff Emma and Maria were really great, fast service and very friendly. Will be back again.

5th July we have been to the Ferry Boat Inn and a had a lovely meal. Excellent value with nice food. It has a large car park. Very large eating area. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Service was quick. The location is absolutely beautiful next to the Trent. The three of us had a dessert off of the children's menu, and it was really good and an ample portion.

Served food in relatively large portion. Quiet nature just outside the restaurant building. Family friendly.

Unfortunately it's not a place I will be coming back to in a hurry. It was our first visit here and the food was very poor, most dishes were overcooked, dry and ingredients tasted old. One of our starters came with sliced carrots and o my they were wilted and dry, they looked like they had been sliced days before and left on the counter top. The app wasn't working to order food so I went to a bar where there were only two bar staff on and long queues on either side, waited in line for around 15 minutes to order food and drinks. Floors under the tables were filthy with lots of old bit of food and tables had not been cleaned. I would have normally asked for a different table but it was very busy and a lack of tables so didn't bother. Waited some time for our starters which is to be excepted on a busy Sunday however the staff came over 3 time to ask if we were finished even though we were still clearly eating. I can only assume this is because our mains were ready to be served? And possibly this is what lead to our food be dry and overcooked? It the first and hopefully the last time I go out with the family and not one person ate even half of their meal. We could have complained at the time but quite frankly none of us wanted any other or more food from this place and all just wanted to leave. Lovely location of a pub and if I was to ever to walk the dogs around this area I would happily have a drink in the beer garden but wouldn't return for food again.

Amazing location and delicious food. Love the view and the incredible service. I’m impressed with your persistence in your food quality and customer service. Staff were always on point with a friendly caring approach, great place to spend time in with friends and family. Will definitely be recommending! Thank you! Looking forward to my next visit. ☺️

Went here yesterday for breakfast and was pleased to see that the recent changes to decor had made a such a vast imporovemnet to the overall feel of the place. It was clean, warm and the festive feeling had already hit. The breakfast was brilliant, much better than anticipated for a chain resturant so was pleasantly surprised value for money is great. One of our servers unsure of her name was friendly and appeared to be genuinely interested in making sure all was ok. To top it off a nice little soft play for the daughter so overall was a great way to spend the morning. We will definitely be recomending and look forward to coming back to try the day time menus.
