90% of the cutlery was dirty. Got given a tap water in a dirty cup with bits floating in it. Told staff member about the dirty knife and forks and she just walked off without saying anything and didnt fix the problem or get more cutlery. The food was very cheap and poor standard and the layout and system isn't very good. Would not eat here again
I visited the Asda café for the first time in many years and noticed it had been upgraded recently. However, despite the changes, the overall experience hasn’t really improved. The setup is confusing. After ordering, you have to go and make your own drink using a machine with very limited instructions. In the ten minutes I was there, I saw several people struggling to figure it out. It’s especially unfair on older customers who just want a simple drink after doing their shopping. In my view, staff should take more responsibility for preparing and serving drinks rather than leaving customers to figure out the machines. There are plenty of better cafés around, so personally I’d say avoid this one.
