Lovely cafe, but oh my word, the wait for hot drinks was crazy this morning. Some of the staff are so slow! I don't want to wait 20 mins for a coffee.
The coffee was alright but the wait was ridiculous - 30 mins wait for a flat white and a tea (ordered with no milk but came with milk regardless), leaving us 20 mins to enjoy before the closing time. There should be a way better system from accepting organising to serving orders; one slow motion barista couldn’t cope with the long queue of customers we are afraid.
Arrived 2 minutes before closing wanting a takeaway coffee. The woman queuing before me was served with 2 teas, then they refused to serve me because it was 4 o'clock, closing time! Disgusted with the jobsworth level of service!
hands down the best coffee on campus! it’s busy so it takes a while to get your order but its absolutely worth it! i come here regularly

Love this place, one of my favourites in Nottingham! Good environment to study but also to meet for a coffee. The drinks are awesome and the raspberry white chocolate brownie is amazing
Good places to go. Traditional Cornish Pasty can be compared to that of Bakewell town. Great coffee too.
Popped in for a coffee only around 11ish on a Wednesday. Ended up having a "festive vegan sausage and cranberry ciabata" as well. Lots of quirky seating space, most have their power points as well. Food is freshly prepared with lots of vegan options (not that I am vegan but I don't think you have to be vegan to eat vegan food and I do). Coffee is great, crafted with care. The place will get busy during uni times around lunchtime. And outside uni time it will operate on shorter hours. In the summer - in other words one July morning between 11am and 1142 and then an early afternoon in August on a Wednesday - you can sit outside as well and gaze at the boating lake and the park forelornly.
