   Thankfully they were open Xmas day, unfortunately I wish they hadn’t have been. The young guy with curly hair took two attempts to make what passed as a Mocha, he was far too quick, on both occasions it was sour and way too weak to pass for a Mocha, and it was an eye watering £5. Not sure if the franchise were cutting back on portions or he wasn’t a great barista I’m not sure so will avoid in future, no wonder they have 3 1/2 star rating!!! (Southbound branch)

   Stopped at Costa Coffee inside Moto Trowell and it hit the spot perfectly. I grabbed a Caramel Iced Whipped Latte—cool, creamy, and just the right touch of sweetness. It was exactly what I needed to keep the drive enjoyable and energized. Service was quick and friendly, and the setup made it easy to grab a quality drink without slowing down the journey. A reliable roadside pick-me-up with a little indulgence in every sip.

   Walked in half-asleep, walked out a functioning adult — all thanks to my daily latte with an extra shot. Honestly, I think the baristas are part-time magicians because that coffee hits different. Atmosphere? Chill. Staff? Legends. Coffee? So good I considered proposing to the cup. If Costa ever shuts down, I’ll need a support group and possibly medical intervention. Until then, I’ll be here… caffeinated and thriving.

   Visited the north bound Costa in April 2023. Ordered two hot chocolates, a latte and a rocky road. We was given takeaway servings when we was clearly sitting on site. Also they never asked for my rewards app so I missed out. Hot chocolate had loads of air so the actual drink was small and the coffee was ok. 2 stars due to takeaway cups and missing out on rewards.

   Fairly average Costa coffee. There was the normal good range of different cakes, sandwiches and sweet treats. Staff were friendly and the whole place seemed quite relaxing.
