Amazing staff I bought two Brie and cranberry toasties and two small lattes today 16th December .Lovely
Appalling service, unhelpful and rude staff. They just stack up coffees and won’t help you when face with multiple drink one of which is yours but you have no indication which is yours. The staff are clearly not interested in helping customers or projecting a positive atmosphere. The fact that the store is in a hospital shouldn’t mean that the quality of customer service should suffer.
The worst Costa experience I’ve ever had. Date & Time: 9th July 2025, around 1:30 PM. • I visited this branch and attempted to redeem a free drink using the Costa app. I showed the offer to the staff member, who acknowledged it. • However, when I got to the till, a different staff member insisted the drink was not part of the promotion and made me pay full price. • I paid to avoid making a scene, only to be handed a completely different drink from what I ordered. • When I pointed this out, another staff member rudely told me, “That’s someone else’s drink — yours is coming.” • Moments later, the two team members began arguing with each other, clearly confused, and eventually handed me a drink I never ordered. This is not the first or second time this kind of poor service has happened at this location. The staff were disorganised, untrained, and rude. Clearly, this branch needs serious staff training. I will not be returning — and I strongly recommend others stay away until improvements are made.
The staff were all incredibly rude and blatantly laughing at people who were quite unwell. They weren't even trying to hide it. The girl on the till in particular was still laughing when serving us. Absolutely disgusting way to treat people who are in hospital and clearly not very well. If you are going to hire people to work here they should definitely be trained in sensitivity and tact.
Place is often busy but the staff keep up well. Plenty of seating too.
I use this costa regularly and the staff have always been amazing, they are constantly busy with a que a mile long and yet they are still polite and friendly every time which is what brings me back.
Louise was very polite and helpful with the wrong drinks by mistake and made fresh drinks and was very apologetic thanks Louise ***** five star customer service
The staff were so lovely. I was sat waiting for my husband, who was in a&e, for 11 hours and they were really nice and kind to me. I sat in the coffee shop, on my laptop and they made the wait bearable. They were so nice. I would highly recommend visiting this coffee shop, if you are at the hospital. Thank you ladies.
