Absolutely splendid little tea room, we visited as cyclists at the weekend, and were delighted with the selection of food and drinks on offer. We had the soup and bread, followed by the mars traybake and victoria sponge. Everything about the cafe, the staff and the decor and view were utterly superb! Thank you for having us!

A cosy place with a great selection of various dishes and desserts. Very nice interiors and surroundings. The service is friendly, and the portions are generous. You order at the counter providing your table number and everything is brought to the table.

Fab place for lunch, especially in the nice weather as it's situated on the canal. Lots of seating in and out. Good choice of cakes, and friendly staff. There is a carpark but it's not that big. Overflow parking on the road. Toilets access from outside.

Our first visit, recommended by one of my colleague. We stopped for a breakfast. Great location of the tearooms as along the Grantham Canal, perfect stop if you walk or bicycle along the canal. There are plenty seats and table outside where you can enjoy nice views and greedy ducks may keep you company so be careful. If may be busy so make sure there is a table available before ordering. More table available upstairs. Great choice of breakfast and lunch, cold and hot drinks, ice creams and yummi home made cakes, scones and muffins. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was served within 10 minutes max. Great coffee! The meals were presented in nice way, good one and the portions were decent. I missed a little bit of flavour in smashed avocado, bacon was OK. The bread, sausages and tomatoes were really good. So the food was correct, I missed a little bit of taste twist. The inside decor is nice, and cosy, very clean. Toiles are located outside. What I really like about the place is the wall pictures by local artists you can buy. I am still giving 5 starts with a credit for delicious-looking cakes I am going to try next time as I will definitely be back.

Delicious, charming, tasty & relaxed waterside dining. Popped in for a late breakfast on a summer Sunday morning after a lovely stroll along the canal. This place is a total gem and deserves its many plaudits and fine reviews. We opted for a veggie and non-veggie breakfast – which were both stunning and swiftly served. Hard to pick out a highlight as all the components were cooked to perfection and delicious (although I think the eggs were especially perfect!). Drinks were good too – an exceptional range, and special praise here for the mocha coffee which was easily among the best I’ve ever had. Top this with fast, efficient and friendly service and you’re onto a winning combination. All this plus an amazing wharf-side view of the all the wildlife, and a range of uncovered, covered and indoor seating to choose from – what’s not to love?! Thanks to the whole team for a great brunch experience – we shall certainly be back!

Lovely little cafe by the canal. We walked from Kinoulton and back and it was nice to sit down here. They have 2-3 typed of vegan cakes and plant based milks too.. The building is nice too and I will definitely will spend more time here during summer and spring.
