£19.95 for a battery that cost £1.50 and took 30 seconds to fit! I wish I’d asked for the price in advance, my own fault I know but I won’t trust Timpsons with anything else, ever.
Went to get a key cut, a job that takes a minute or two. Half an hour left of opening time. Chap refused on the basis that he had ‘the shop to close’. Either close to the public earlier to give staff time to close the shop, or offer your services until closing time.
Extremely quick service although slightly annoyed…was asked if I wished one key to be cut at £9.00 or two for £13.50, I stated one. However upon paying (contactless payment, whilst the member of staff kept hold of the machine therefore couldn’t see what he entered) was actually charged £13.50 after reviewing my bank. Payed no intention to the receipt as obviously I stated ‘one key’ and you just assume / trust it was entered correctly. Never mind, decent guy and obviously (hopefully) a genuine mistake.
Very happy with the engraved wine glasses that Matt at the Transit Way Timpsons sorted for me. He called up the engraving department for me to help figure out how best to go about it and they arrived in about 7 days, beautifully boxed which I wasn't expecting! Very good value for money.
Needed a key cut as mine stopped working properly for my door, jamie did an amazing job, really professional and friendly customer service will definitely go again if i need anything done

Been this place twice one time he cut the key wrong and when I go back he was very rude, I been there again today because its local and handy the guy works there very rude as usual and telling I charge you £20 for a simple key while I can cut the same key in Town for 99p wouldn't recommend this place to anyone
Needed my Desert boots stretching, Timpson had them for 3 working days and when I picked them up and tried them on they fitted perfectly. Great service and polite and helpful staff, To buy decent boot stretchers would have cost me £20.00 plus the stretching solution at £6.00 so to only pay £6.00 in total in my opinion is an excellent service.
Matt has been a wizard with my daughters shoes on more than one occasion - very quick to repair as well! Thanks to him for sorting us out the past year.
