   Been calling on here for a pre-work coffee on and off for a good while now. I like the bright airy atmosphere and the staff have almost always set the place apart. Attentive and helpful they will usually make it a nice experience to call in. To anyone familiar with Costa, the food and coffee options will be familiar and are of a decent standard.

   Went in for coffee and decided to have some toast. Two guys behind the counter who seemed totally uninterested and were very slow with a queue building up. After sitting down I had to ask twice where the toast was. Really not a good experience overall. Sorry.

   Maybe it's just me, after working with the public, serving food for many years, but I would never have thought to serve food while cleaning products were in the serving area. I would have finished cleaning and then put the cleaning products and cloths away first. To me that would be the right way to do it. The professional way to do it. But maybe things have changed. Maybe that's the way it should be done nowadays. But still, they would clean a table and take away the cleaning products and cloths before the customer is seated. Maybe the young girl didn't think or maybe she was just rude when I pointed out that cleaning should be done before food is served. Anyway, you lost a regular customer today

   Usually a decent branch, coffee tends to be made well.. But beware if you are the first to walk in and break a quiet spell, the sense that the staff are attending to you reluctantly is palpable.. Like they've been asked to change a nappy.
