   This is the only place I’ll get coffee when I’m at Lesley Forestside. The staff is very friendly and the coffee is good. I feel very comfortable at M&S cafe.

   Unfortunately this place has been run to the ground. So many dirty tables, a staff member walked past a dirty table twice and made no attempt to clean it despite customers standing beside it trying to clear it themselves. They really need to prioritise keeping this place clean as it's so dirty, the floors are also very dirty. no reason they can't have staff doing a better job of keeping this place clean and tidy

   Me and my husband decided to go into the cafe and it wasn’t what we were expecting. when we joined the queue it didn’t seem to be moving at all and the fridges were close to empty in some parts. When we did get to the till the service was not what you would expect from M&S, there was a young girl with glasses who served us and was not pleasant at all and when asked if there was soup basically snarled at us. The coffees we ordered were quite nice but took some time to be made. The staffing was atrocious as were the tables. Overall we wouldn’t return to this specific M&S cafe, it doesn’t have any reflection on any of the others we have been too.

   Im actually surprised more reviews haven't been left here on how terrible the customer service is. I was with my mum who is in a wheelchair which first off was an issue given that there is not much room between tables and the food fridges (we didnt realise this before entering the queue but regardless should be more accessible). We had never been here before so unsure how everything operated. I had a number of items on my tray to which the lady totted everything up, I then interrupted and said I would like to order some hot food, she said 'what do you want?' Looking at me like I had 4 heads as if it was a shock id asked for additional food. My mum wanted a breakfast wrap which I ordered with the response 'were there any wraps in the fridge?' To which I responded that it was my first time here and didn't know that's where I needed to lift it from. The line was huge, the space was minimal and I also had a 3 year old with me so it was chaos to say the least. The food was ok, service was pretty rubbish and I definitely wont be back.

   See photos below . Table was wiped but soaking . I dried table and rubbed it down for myself. See photo . Should have been done thoroughly and correctly by staff. Floor underneath table disgusting . Seriously is this M&S at its best . Terrible and needs looked at . Partner didn’t want her coat trailing on ground as too dirty . No chocolate for coffee and pretty poor cappuccino. Foam

   Cafe is fine but I disagree with their promotion for Magic Coffee as being velvety smooth without a hint of bitterness. Most bitter coffee I’ve tasted, spoilt my coffee break. Maybe I’ll stick to my regular one shot cappuccino in future.

   M&S cafe wasn’t nice I have to say. Staff were rude and showed no interest in their work or customers. I brought my grandmother, grandfather and brother for lunch, ordered a kids meal which my little brother enjoyed, a bacon roll, cheese and ham toastie and a jacket potato with beans. The bacon roll was nice, jacket potato wasn’t cooked enough and beans were far too sweet. My grandmothers toastie was atrocious. The cheese was like silicone, the bread wasn’t toasted and it was like cardboard! Wasn’t impressed, do better guys!

   There is more work in a sick line than in the staff here…. No wonder the queue is so long… totally disorganised more time spent talking to each other than serving customers…. Seriously time to get your act together!! There’s lots of places now serving coffee there !

   Slow, rude staff. Cashier no interest in dealing with us to busy laughing and watching other customers. Sandwiches not fresh. Even waiting on hot drinks was an issue as they weren't paying attention. Limited choices also
