I was delighted to get a scone and coffee for under Β£6. It was served by a lovely young man who clearly took a lot of pride in keeping the cafe absolutely spotless. The toilets were also gleaming. The cafe only had 4 customers at midday on a Tuesday during term time. I imagine it must be packed at the weekends and during the holidays. The cafe is bright and cheery and definitely worth a visit.

Very reasonable pricing for excellent quality food. Had a lovely home made mushroom soup which was freshly prepared with lovely home made Irish soda bread to go with it. Then had a very reasonably priced tea with proper cup and teapot plus a lovely rocky road cake; with a fabulous honeycomb crunch. All that cost less than Β£10. Toilets were very modern and clean too! Donβt be put off by the interior plus off peak and on school days the cafe and venue is generally mostly childless so can be quiet peaceful.

Right folks, let's restore a bit of balance here because I really rate this place. And going by the attendance, so do a lot of other people - and not just families. One of the best things here has to be the great value coffee. Β£2.40 for a latte or cappuccino - and they are nice! The sandwiches are fresh, the skinny fries are top tier, the chicken goujons are nice, the chunky chips are also fresh and made from a really tasty potato, and they serve a good range of soft drinks (try the prickly pear Vital, seriously). Staff are lovely, and the venue itself is really nice - airy, contemporary design, and clean. Can't think of a single reason not to visit!

Not great choice. You can't order a fry after 11am......wow! I had sausage rolls that were clearly microwaved, so very soft and mushy, not with the crusty skin you get with a fresh one done in the oven. The curry was bland and the chips were reheated. Staff are dull and you would think they don't wanna be there with their shoulder hanging and their dull demeanour. Worth a try to get out of the rain from the play park.
