Used to pass The Bearded Goat on my travels on Gray's Hill many, many times noticing how busy it always was & allways wanted to go in... So managed to get time to go, only to find out it moved to High Street. We are so glad we got to go, as the whole experience was amazing... The atmosphere is lovely, the music was very ambient & not intrusive at all, the staff were friendly, welcoming & helpful, the food was out of this world & tasty! If you're looking for a nice eatery with fantastic vibes & a great menu, this is definitely the place to go! We can't wait to return...

I find the coffee really lovely here, however I feel the cups have got smaller. Definitely compared to other places. The cup I was given today was the type of cup you would get a flat white in. I ordered a caramel latte and was charged £4.20 for a very very small coffee. Absolutely nothing wrong with the service or anything like that, but it does put me off going back.

Having stayed in Bangor recently, I walked past this place a couple of times and was curious, so I had a look on here and saw people recommending the squeaky cheese. I decided to dander over on a Sunday to order this dish and a coffee. Omg, I am so glad I did. The tastiest brunch I've had in a while, no question. Beautiful fresh sourdough, topped with avocado, halloumi, poached eggs, sunflower seeds, balsamic drizzle, and more - it was an explosion of taste and it was devoured in minutes! I chose to take out because it's a small place and I thought I probably wouldn't get a table on a Sunday, but when I called in there were a couple of tables, so it would be worth chancing it! The coffee was also lovely, as were the staff who served me. I will making a point to come back here next time I'm in the area.

Heard about this cafe so we decided to give it a try. It’s a small space with 3 tables but we got one of them. Menu is also small and most on offer is on sourdough bread. We both had a sandwich and while they were good I found mine too salty. A glass of water would have been nice but it was not offered.,

The food in here is just so good. Can't beat the flavour combo on the WKA, great high quality ingredients and friendly staff, feels comfy to sit in for a while with a book and a coffee. Great selection of buns too, coffee is lovely and it's hard not to get a second! Prices are great for what you get too - enjoy!

As close to a Gourmet breakfast. Toasted sourdough with salmon and poached eggs and I borrowed a thick slice of bacon from my dining buddy. Fabulous food. Smiling service. Great location. Bangor keeps adding these little golden nuggets of eateries. And, everyone had a beard, men only of course. It’s another happy place for me and my visitors.

We stumbled upon the Bearded Goat having walked into Bangor. The coffee is delicious and the food menu a little different to your standard cafe but in a great way. As a marmite lover, I took the Love it or Hate it, which was mouth watering. My girlfriend had Skinheads on a raft which she loved too. Great service, I would recommend to anyone!
