Person who served me was lovely. 8.80 for a fry with soggy uncooked potato bread, half cooked soda, missing egg. Guy cooking has never seen a fry in his life.

Everybody was very friendly, the food was excellent quality (the best breakfast I've had in Belfast) and arrived quickly. The portion sizes are very good. We had a Goliath fry, an all day fry, French toast and a ham sandwich, and everybody was satisfied.

Pretty decent food and a lovely member of staff with pigtails. Just visited tho and was given uncooked poached eggs with runny clear whites inside. Asked for a partial refund and they brought the chef out to tell me I was wrong. Then had to go the counter whilst every single member of staff stared at me with hostility and clearly talking about me. The wonderful woman in pigtails was not there. They argued with me, said I was wrong and the uncooked eggs were perfectly cooked and begrudgingly gave me my £2.70 refund and continued staring at me and talking about me. Chefs make mistakes if you can't accept feedback then don't work in hospitality. I will never eat there again because of this and neither will my friend who confirmed the eggs weren't cooked. But as long as you're right yeah? All because of their fragile egos.

Went for lunch to this cafe, which is connected to the next door City Mission. Quite a large cafe with plenty of room. It is self service with no waiters. To be honest the counter service is a bit hit or miss and not a large choice of food. There was along with the usual choice of Ulster Fry just three other choices, and although it wasn't busy we had to wait on chips being cooked and they had run out of one of the choices. What we did get was nice and the prices were reasonable.

We discovered Refresh when we were visiting from England and photographing the amazing Murals. It was pouring with rain, and we found Refresh to take shelter and have breakfast. What an amazing find. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful we have encountered in a long time. It was delighful to be served with such enthusiasm and amazing smiles. The ethos and purpose of refresh make it even more special. Keep up the amazing work you do. You're all very special people! When we return to Belfast, you are on our list of 'must visits'. Thank you for doing what you do!

We entered the cafe to get away from the rain while we explored the neighbourhood, not knowing anything about the initiative and their community work. Inside, we were greeted by an extremely friendly staff who promptly offered us a warm welcome and coffees while we read the menu. We went for the Full House Soda, and the food was delicious. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Amazing breakfast and inspiring cause! We need more places like these in the world

A great place for tea, coffee and food. Nice outdoor seating area adjacent to a community garden. The prices represent excellent value for money.
