Had a voucher given to us so we went. We had been before and it WAS OK. NOT TODAY. Buttermilk pancakes are sunblest. The bacon was burnt to a crisp. But cold. My husband fried soda bread was warm if I'm being nice about it. The waitress didn't smile, we had to ask for our order to be taken. Very quiet so no excuse. Definitely wouldn't recommend it

Had a delicious lunch at No.36 today. We had a short wait to get a table as it was so busy but it was worth the wait. The menu had lots of choice so much so that it was difficult to choose. We selected a Korean wrap and a chicken and sun dried tomato sourdough, both were amazing. Great food, great price and a lovely atmosphere, look forward to our return.

The reason I selected this place for brunch was that they seem to have more varied vegetarian options rather than the usual halloumi sandwich or avocado toast. The staff are friendly and very attentive. The food was BRILLIANT. I may have stuffed myself a wee bit, but I would definitely recommend and return again. The flat white was very nicely done and strong, just like I like it.

Was such a lovely brunch for us! We ordered chicken and waffles, the bap and french toast. As a first experience in Belfast, we were very happy to kick off our day with such a great meal

Based on the Belmont Road sits No.36. A small restaurant that is very busy. I wanted a breakfast with avocado & poached eggs - the waitress recommended the sourdough bread with poached eggs, avocado sriracha & their special seasoning. I also got a large cappuccino which was massive! When my food arrived I was very impressed by the aesthetics of the dish. However, as mentioned to the waitress when paying I found it incredibly salty. Hence why 4 stars. For me , and my palate the salt overpowered the whole dish sadly, to the point where I was taking the food apart to find the culprit. Perhaps No.36 could advise customers especially new diners that hasn't visited before that their seasoning is salty.

I love eating out at this place. Anything I have ever ordered has been really tasty. My hubby is really fussy and he loves their food too. The coffee is really nice and aromatic and staff are really friendly. I think this cafe has the best food in East Belfast! My son loves their Belgian waffles the most!

I discovered no.36 when arranging outside catering and their service was excellent. I followed up with a lunch visit mid-week and was very impressed with the food and staff. On a Saturday though it is very busy, but the quality remains high, the service reasonably quick, the staff attentive and helpful, and the food consistently high quality.
