   Lovely food, good coffee, service was a tad slow. That being said, it was very busy as a lot of other places were closed, hence the delay in some of our order. We did enjoy the coffees, and the sausage rolls were sublime.

   Pity the people working here. They were short staffed, untrained, and out of their depth. Coffee took half an hour to arrive and my Americano was bitter, lukewarm, and served in a greasy cup. The floor was dirty, covered in crumbs, the tables and chairs were dirty, people left and no one cleaned up after them. I don't know what has happened to District. The last visit I had, they were doing beautifully cooked breakfast favourites to an appreciative audience. I hope they can get back on track before too long.

   This is quite a nice, small place in a good location. The service was ok, but could have been a bit friendlier. We just had coffee, but it took quite a while to come. I found my flat white very strong, this may suit others taste, so this is more an observation than a criticism. My friend had to have hers reheated, again this may be personal taste. I would go again, but the standard of coffee shops in the area is quite high, so would be tempted to go elsewhere first.

   Great food and lovely coffee, there are some very good cafes on the Ormeau Road and District is right up there with the best. Highly recommend the avocado BLT and poached eggs n bacon on sourdough!
