   Just had a bizarre experience. Asked for my usual Americano extra hot, which I've had multiple times in this and other Starbucks, only to be told by a young, blonde, unsmiling, passive aggressive female member of staff "We can't do that" ie it can't be made extra hot. I said I'd had it done that way every other time because I find the standard Starbucks temperature to be on the tepid side. She shrugged her shoulders and looked away, so I left and doubt if I'll return. Other coffee shops are available in Ards shopping centre, including excellent independent ones. What is it with the Starbucks stores in Newtownards? The Castlebawn one also gets bad reviews.

   Staff are horrendous and completely utterly rude. Made my drink wrong and had given me attitude about a mistake they had made then got my correct drink and walked back to my seat which then a girl with red hair had rolled her eyes at me and walked away. Worst experience i’ve had and definitely won’t be back. Staff need sacked clearly as this place does provide good food but not good service.

   What can I say. Called in today and got grunted at. It was 1705. They closed at 1800... ordered a coffee and a tea. I didn't as for a lung or a kidney which is what you'd thought id asked for by the reaction I got. Once I got my drinks I waited a few seconds to see whether or not I was going to be offered milk for the wife's tea. When i wasn't I took the 2 drinks to the table, went back to the counter and asked for milk. What a shock I got. I got milk. But just nearly enough to colour the tea, a half full 2L carton. will never be back in here again. There's a few of the staff should not be allowed to deal with the public with the attitude they have...

   OMG !!! Service, terrible Wooden spoons and knives. Stickers on cups and plates so they could remember who what was for. Was given milk in a 2ltr bottle and not a jug. Enough staff to run a restaurant but non appearing to have the competence to run a coffee shop. A dreadful visit. I doubt if I'll be back

   Don’t get anything from here. Place is a mess and the cafe is disgusting. Drinks don’t even taste good for the price of them either, would be much better going to another store. Only given 1 star cause I can’t give zero but at least some of the staff are friendly so they can have 1

   I’ve just bought a Coronation Chicken on onion seeded bap. The contents of the bap (onion, chicken, cucumber and lettuce frozen!)Tried to call Starbucks but no answer. This is a disgrace!!!!!!

   Lovely food and coffee as always! I always get a flat white with an extra shot and they make it perfect every time. Staff are always so kind and accommodating to my needs.

   Very friendly staff and plenty of seating options. Drink customisations are handled very well. The people on till are always open to giving recommendations if you don't know what you'd like! As with many Starbucks stores, the toilets tend to be very clean. The store has become a frequent stop of mine and I would definitely recommend it.
