Had a total knee replacement at Cannock Chase Hospital on 11/12/25 and I cannot speak highly enough for the care and attention I received from the staff, they are excellent. Hospital is clean and very well organised, everyone is so friendly and positive a real credit to the NHS

This is a very good local hospital. The staff are professional, friendly & helpful. The hospital is clean. The ward & department locations are clear. There are 2 lifts available for the 2nd & 3rd floors. There is a reception desk on the ground floor, to the right of the main entrance and a reception pod straight ahead through the entrance to the 2nd floor. Both entrances have automatic doors & an automatic rotating doors. The 2nd floor is also accessible from the disabled parking on the road via a walkway.

Such a lovely hospital. Been here twice for my pregnancy scans, honestly the best experience I've ever had in a hospital. The staff treat everyone with so much respect and kindness. Special thanks to Tracey, Stacey, Nadine and Sarah who really took their time to explain everything properly to me and made me feel so at ease.

Came here for knee surgery and had a pleasant experience. All staff, nurses and doctors were extremely friendly and made me feel welcome at every point. Felt looked after and nothing was too much trouble for the nurses, physio etc. As I think there is no a and e, the department has a more relaxed vibe and you feel well looked after. Hospital was kept clean and facilities were good. As far as a hospital visit can go, this was a good experience and I want to say a big thank you to the hollybank department for making my stay so comfortable.

The micats department is absolutely awful and offers some of the worst care for patients with muscoskeletal issues. It really isn't worth anyone's time to visit these people. Micats embodies everything that is wrong with the NHS .

Although the disabled parking is hit and miss, it is usually easy to find a parking spot. There is a pay and display car park which you can park in free with a disabled badge. The hospital doesn't have any A&E dept. It is usually really clean and the staff are always polite and helpful.

At the moment my experience of Cannock Chase Hospital is of two out patient appointments that are preparation for a full knee replacement. I found the hospital to have excellent parking facilities with charges being reasonable in contrast to bigger hospitals I have to attend. I found the staff to be so friendly and helpful it came as a bit of a shock, and was spread across all levels.
