   Waited about 20 minutes for someone to notice we were there in a very quiet café.orders taken a toastie and french toast waited a full half hour for these the toastie was on the burnt side just about edible.on going to the till to pay no one seemed to be able to work the till! Finally got out but definitely won't be back it's not the same as it was a few years ago,

   We were in the cafe around 22nd November for lunch. We were approached by a very sullen unfriendly young waitress. We had asked for a panini with chicken to be told chicken was off. Fair enough. Went back again on Saturday 29th November to be approached by same sullen waitress, seemed like she didn't want to be there. This time we ordered chicken panini again, this time we were told no hot food. Bearing in mind it was 2.40pm and menu stated lunch served until 3pm we were given no explanation or apology. Won't be back again.

   Went here to get breakfast with two colleagues at 0945. One of my colleagues had purchased a coffee downstairs in Jeffers, which he had mostly consumed outside. We were served by a foreign sounding waitress who lambasted my colleague for daring to bring the coffee with him, and whilst he apologised, she said "Well, you will know for next time". Her attitude was awful!! We decided to walk out at that point. This is an object lesson in how to lose business by having the wrong staff. Will most definitely never be back.

   Called in there this afternoon for lunch/breakfast. Already cooked items just reheated bacon and sausages were not fit to eat, container used to reheat beans had already previous beans stuck to it pancakes did not taste or look like pancakes. Cook/cheft was eating the food she was chopping.Very slow service for items that just needed to be reheated. Will not be back.
