Update to this review. Just had lunch today. Turkey and ham sandwich with sweat potato chips. Really good. Filling and tasty. Staff are really exceptional. So friendly. “I’ve been looking for a waffle place in Belfast and just recently discovered Cafe Mauds. Their waffle is by far the best I have tried in belfast. My favourite in their menu is the banana and toffee waffle. The banana balances out the sweetness of the toffee and I think they are a perfect combination. Definitely recommending place to those looking for a good dessert place.”

“Great food. Large portions, at least by my standards. A little on the pricey side to be honest. A tip: if you are having tea one pot is more than enough for three cups and it'll save you money to have one tea but three cups, assuming that this is allowed. Varied selection on the menu and friendly staff make this an excellent cafe. I'd visit again. Recommended!”

“Have been here a few times now and love it. Good quality food and lots of healthy options. Can be busy at times, so it can be a bit slower, but it is worth it in the end. They have an app you can order with handy when you get how to use it. As the self-service order pad can be busy at times and the app helps the staff out when it is busy. As ordering at the counter slows them down on a busy day.”
