   A truly horrible, cold, dry jacket potato for lunch. When I asked for some butter of mayo to make it edible, was told it would be 20p a portion.

   Have to say a big well done to the staff here, I was an early morning visitor to this cafe and the lady that served me was outstanding, so polite and jolly. The food was fresh and it is well worth the visit for food.

   Overpriced scone, left half of it as it was stale. Member of staff spilt coffee on tray, didn't wipe it or change tray. Won't be back!

   We have been there twice for a hot chocolate before my girl's AQE. when we got there today the hot chocolate hadn't arrived yet. These things happen but to our delight the lady behind the counter went and bought coco powder to make a hot chocolate for my daughter. That was so so kind. The lady's name is Joana. She deserves a fine bonus for her pleasant support today and last Saturday. Tesco are very lucky to have this lady in their team. Supporting Joana today were two other lovely ladies who pampered my daughter, wished her well and made our little visit memorable. I only know the name of one of the other lady, Heather. We will be back next Saturday pre AQE and definitely again given the value these three ladies place on excellent customer service.

   Pretty standard Tesco café. The seating area is nice and comfortable. Food is good, staff are friendly and helpful. Probably feel the 'all day fry' is the best value for money and taste.

   The restaurant area has recently been redecorated and updated. It is more comfortable with soft seats and sofas along side the regular seating. Food is cheap and cheerful and the staff are pleasant and helpful. However on the day we called in - a Sunday - there were 2 main meals not on the already restricted menu. If just looking for a coffee this is the place as the coffee is good.
