   Caffe Nero is one the better chains for coffee does a decent cappuccino, this branch is still nice but compared to some newer ones could do with maybe a update but other than that it's decent.

   It's alright, occasionally I'll go in for a coffee and maybe a wee treat. The cakes and all are lovely but it's a kinda touch and go with the coffee. Sometimes the coffee is really strong and burnt, other times it's fine. The toilets are the same, lately they've been fine, but I haven't been in much. Other times the toilets were really gross and smelt awful. But once, we came in half an hour before closing and they went around and gave people free pastries that were left over from the day.

   Haven't been here for years now but dropped in as wife wanted a coffee and sandwich. Coffee was so strong it was undrinkable. Had a toasted ham and cheese sandwich which arrived totally flat pressed, no side salad and not very nice. And at £16 for the pleasure means I will never be back. Poor quality and extortionate prices. I do not recommend it if your looking for nice coffee and tasty well presented food....

   Good coffee and pleasant staff. Service not very fast but friendly. My granola flapjack tasted weirdly artificial, not pleasant at all. I gave 2 stars because the whole place is filthy. I didn't realise how bad it is until after I had paid for my coffee. Tables not cleared. Tables not wiped. Floor dirty. Seats disgusting, especially the arm chairs by the window. They are stained and dirty. They should have been replaced years ago. I didn't want to sit there so I chose a booth. There was coffee spilt on the seat, drips of goodness knows what on the wall and the table like all the others needed a good scrub.

   Not very nice girl works there no smile no nothing. Then said will you makesure your 12 weeks old pup dose not go on the furniture. Wow the pup is a wee shitzhu and was sleeping on my wife's knee. Then she stares at you and your pup and no smile. My god felt so unwelcome in there been to Newcastle and the staff or so lovely and friendly and makes you welcome but my god this fair hair chubby girl was so unfriendly would not go in there again if she is working .how do these girls get a job or they not ment to be friendly to people and make u welcomed . Very poor staff service

   As Cafe Nero Coffee houses go in recent times it’s below standard. Only key complaint would be the cleaning of tables is a bit slow or non existent. But toilets clean and coffee is always good. Staff quite pleasant as well.
