Terrible. Booked to have my covid jab . Rang in the morning to make sure they was open. They said yes. I turn up and they are shut. Ive booked to go elsewhere.
Good doctors and nurses, but the receptionist area needs to be more people persons put a bit of feelings into their work

I took my brother to see Dr Dusari today at Wood Road Surgey. What a lovely, patient doctor. My brother has Parkinsons disease which causes many issues but I felt in this one appointment we got more of his issues dealt with and we felt supported which unfortunately had been lacking up to now. Overall it was a very positive experience.
Nice clean practice. Large car park. On site pharmacy. However, biggest negative has got to be the appointment booking service. 8am is like trying to buy Glastonbury tickets. Hour of 'line busy' calls, and then when you eventually get through at 11am, no more same day service available, unless extremely severe, then they recommend going to the hospital instead. It's no wonder people are misdiagnosing themselves with treatments read on Google etc, genuinely require the medical advice from those with the qualifications and years of practice. Please review the booking service, it's really letting the practice down
The surgery needs 72 hours to send via computer a prescription to the pharmacy. I could have travelled to Australia and back! This surgery has gone downhill fast.
My father has been a patient of this practice for many years. Due to complex conditions and mobility difficulties I now attend appointments with him, and communicate with the practice on his behalf. The treatment and care he receives is exemplary, particularly against the background of very high level of pressure on the health service. There is usually a wait to get through on the phone, but reception staff are always polite, helpful and reliable. Dr Sachdeva is extremely knowledgeable and ensures my Dad has thorough assessment and optimum treatment. I am so grateful for the care of this gp practice
It's the most difficult surgery to arrange appointment to see the doctor. I had been calling40 mins to get through and then told they have no appointment and go to walk in centre wilist my child is sick.
Spent a hour from 8am trying to get through to be told no appointments left call back tomorrow morning at 8am or go to drop in centre. What happens if you aren't in a position to do this?? Its not acceptable. To be honest if I was given the option to drop off the NHS and pay less than I pay in national insurance for private care...i would. The NHS is broken and things like this highlight that fact.
