New to the practice but so far so good, the only thing I would say is this whole triage system for booking appointments Iβm not too keen on but apart from that itβs all good. The doctors and reception staff are respectful when dealing with patients.

I had 2 appointments today (7th August) one at 9.20am with nurse and one at 9.40am with Dr. I booked in at computer. I saw the nurse and then waited for 2nd appnt with time to spare. At 10.15am I enquired about the 2nd appnt and was told I should have booked in twice at the computer. REALLY, and how was I supposed to know that? The Dr was contacted and said she she was too busy to see me now! The waiting room was completely empty. I suggested to a very argumentative receptionist the idea of a notice above the computer re this point would be common sense. The Dr did not even try to call me in from the computer in the waiting room! I too am busy and this fiasco is poor service indeed!

I had a blood test i phoned for the results and was told the Doctor wanted to see me to discuss. I asked for an appointment I was told there were no appointments and to call the next day at 8am. I called today 30 July 25 and was told the next available appointment was the 13 August 2025 which would be a telephone appointment between 9 and 12:30. I said I work full time and cannot guarantee I will be available during this time. I was then offered a face to face on the 13th August with a different doctor. I said the Doctor I saw originally asked to see me again I was told there are no appointments with him. I am really frustrated and declined the offer of seeing another Doctor to go over everything again. Really poor service I wish I could move surgery. It's a disgrace.

Diabolical services, filled out the online form for nerve damage in my shoulder they didn't even contact me sent me a text offering me a physiotherapy appointment in three weeks so rang the practice because this is not what I want , asked all sorts of weird questions not about my shoulder more about the ages of my children and what I do for work that needs me to be able to use my left arm and offered me a sick note ( I'm self employed) I told them that's not what I want I want seeing and some sort of diagnosis and some sort of anti inflammatory drug or a pain killer prescription to which she said someone will phone me back. Absolutely pointless don't waste your time.

This is a review for the care my father has received in the last few weeks from Penn Manor medical centre. He is elderly with chronic heart condition and has been in and out of hospital in the last year. He recently went back into hospital and was given new medication but when he came home he experienced side effects when he started taking the medication. We contacted penn manor to make them aware. i could hear care and compassion in the receptionists voice when she took my call and it made me want to cry because it is so hard getting thorough to the doctors and the fear that you wonβt be taken seriously is genuine. Dr Sehdev called back and he is an excellent practitioner. His systematic, thorough care ensured that he looked at my dad as a whole person not just his heart condition. He made calls to the cardiology team at New Cross to review the medication in light of the side effects and dadβs history of falls. He also worked with the practice pharmacist, I didnβt even know there was one but she was lovely and so helpful too. He came to review dad when he was being seen by a HCA (also lovely) for a blood test and urinalysis so he could act on the results straight away. He has kept us up to date, kept in contact with cardiology throughout a really difficult time and this is a model of what care should be. Lloyds pharmacy next door have also been brilliant.

If I were able to score Penn Manor Medical Centre zero stars, I would. A terribly run practice that rarely fails to deliver a substandard service. This surgery practices a system of unavailability and preventative access to care. Their telephone line will routinely cut you off, kicking away one less patient for them to mind. Online services are virtually non-existent, useless for the most part. If help can be avoided, it is what this surgery does best. Though Penn Manor Medical Centre falls under primary care, the care is nowhere to be found.

If you have a job and cant call at 8am on the dot to book an appointment, forget it. You get sniped for appointments by all the people who dont have work commitments all the time, it's SO difficult just to get through to someone, then to be told to call back tomorrow, only for the same thing to happen again. They -really- need to bring back emailing in for an appointment, not all of us have the ability to walk away from our jobs for an hour to wait on hold, and cant just answer a callback at the drop of a hat. It's so frustrating they use an ancient system for booking an appointment.

As I m on statins, I went into the surgery 2 weeks ago to book a blood test for cholesterol, bearing in mind I havenβt had a blood test for over 4 years. My βtelephone appointmentβ was for this morning. Lo and behold, no telephone call! I rang the surgery and they told me there was no record of this appointment and it must be a computer error! I will wait to see if I actually get this call tomorrow. I, actually, donβt know why I have to speak to a doctor to get a blood test?
