   I have used Whiteley's cleaners (and the previous companies on the same site) for many years but recent experiences have meant that we will no longer do so. I left an expensive pair of trousers with them in the middle of August 2025 - and went back to get them on the second week of October. I paid for the cleaning in advance. I was informed that the trousers had already been picked up (although I still have the ticket). On the off chance that my wife had picked them up I checked all the possible places thoroughly at home, but my wife told me she wouldn't have picked them up anyway, as she didn't know they had been taken to the shop. Whiteley's searched their stock but were adamant the item had been picked up but could not give me any details (ie date of pickup) as their system does not give that information. I am 100 % 1) That I did not pick up the item. 2) That either they still have it, or it has got lost in the shop, or given out to another customer My wife tells me that they have mislaid her items before once or twice and they subsequently found them. The lady told me that I had left it quite a long time (2 months) which is true - as I did forget to pick up the item before - and I know they donate items to charity shops after 3 months. She then added that they have items still from 10 years ago - so a very odd argument to make if you are firstly claiming that 2 months is a long time. She was polite but insistent that the item had been picked up - maybe - but not by me. When all is said and done, I need to be 100 % certain that items I leave with them are going to be secure and unfortunately I no longer have that confidence - so regretfully will no longer be using their services. I would not be confident in leaving an expensive suit in their care.

   I often use Whiteley’s for tailoring and general dry cleaning services. They are reliable and have great customer service. I have given them short notice a few times on some items and they are always willing to help me. I find the free delivery also very helpful as I have a young child and can’t always go out to pick up my dry cleaning! Recommend this company to anyone!

   I have been giving my cloths for alternation with Whiteleys Dry Cleaners for some time now, And there services are really good. I have given several items to alter and they have all come back really well, no lose threads. They get the fitting right all the time. And most importantly they have fast services. I recommend everyone to get any alternations they require to be done by Whiteleys Dry Cleaners, they are the best.
