Went to this garage after recommended by a work colleague to replace my head light. At the same time got MOT and service done. Found the manager Jimmy very pleasant honest and trustworthy. Will be bringing my car back here next year.
Called them at 8:30.. they called me straight back.. squeezed my camper van in between jobs to fit a new clutch and duel mass flywheel… 6hrs later got my van back.. other garages struggled to fit me in and wouldn’t give a time frame with poor excuses like. Due to its age bits might snap and need replacing.. these guys were straight to the point.. gave me a price and stuck to it.. two places were over £400 more expensive so I will use Stapleford Auto Centre for all my work in the future…. Thanks for getting me back on the road so soon.. one happy camper here..
AVOID THIS GARAGE. I'm convinced all the other reviews are friends and family. I've never had a worse experience having a car 'fixed'. Brought my son's Skoda Fabia in to have front suspension springs fitted. Drove away to find dashboard ABS and Skid sensor warning lights on. I should have recognized warning signs when they originally called me trying to wriggle out of doing the springs on both sides - but I insisted on them doing as requested. After the work I complained that the warning lights were on and they asked me to return the car. They 'fixed' the lights ... but they came back on the next day. I then took it to KwikFit to have new tyres fitted - the fitter said he noticed that the Drive Shaft Rubber CV Gaiter had been split (not wear and tear) and that I should take it back to have it repaired. I went back to Stapleford Autocentre. 'Jimmy' seemed less than pleased to see me. I told him that the Gaiter was split and the warning lights were STILL on. He said he would have a look - took it apart then told me that the 'ABS Ring (Rim?)' was broken, which is why the light was on (funny how it was perfectly okay before bringing it to him in the first place). I gave up as a bad deal so asked for them to reassemble the car and I'd pick it up. He argued with me on the phone, THEN HE CHARGED ME A FURTHER £60 for the privilege of being messed around. If you value your hard earned money and your sanity, avoid this garage like the plague. I would've given zero stars, but you have to give a star to warn others.
I've had my mot done and a service. Great garage and owner, can't fault the prices. Staff are brilliant, definitely worth using.
I took my car here last summer, they changed my timing belt as well as diagnosing and repairing an ABS fault. I was very happy with the service I received, so much so, I took my car back to them Saturday for a major service and MOT, again great service, I would definitely recommend.
The service was professional, honest and very friendly. The staff were very knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to help. The pricing was very fair and transparent. As a woman, in other garages, I have felt that sometimes, you can be taken advantage of regarding services that are needed for your car, however, I did not feel that in this place. I was given regular updates on my car and all repairs were done efficiently and in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this garage and will be a regular returning customer.
Went in to get fuel filter changed, booked me in despite being busy, work done in one day, excellent customer service, would recommend.
I received a very good service from Jimmy at the Auto Centre. Honest and went above and beyond.repaired my car and even cleaned my engine. So much better than the previous owner! Thank you Jimmy from Claire.
After my car suddenly lost 50% power and warning lights appeared, Stapleford Auto centre got me straight in, diagnosed, ordered the parts and fitted all within 24 hours.. Leaving me with a safe car to drive. Absolutely brilliant service, even had faulty parts photos sent to my phone to prove what they had diagnosed. Would highly recommend this new business and will be using for all my future car needs. Thank you!
