Nice large park with a pond with swans and ducks. Coffee shop on site, public toilets are available also has a child’s playground and a large skate park. Great to stroll around and is quiet during the day. Bowls and tennis courts are available for the more adventurous.
This is a beautiful park surrounded by nature. It’s lovely in the summer. There’s a beautiful lake here too full of ducks and swans. This is the perfect spot for a picnic. There’s a playground too. It’s really peaceful here, and a lovely place to come for a walk.

Very nice park. Far from city centre but it's worth visiting atleast once or twice a month. The greenery of this place is magnificent. There are public toilets and a coffee shop too. Not sure if the ice cream truck comes here daily, but I visited on a Sunday and bought a softie from them :)
St George's Park is a multi activity space. It has basketball courts, skate park, bowling green, tennis courts, children's playground and a small lake with a bird island. There is a food kiosk serving hot and cold drinks plus snack food, ice creams and even dog ice creams. The toilets were locked the day I visited. St. George's Park was purchased by St. George Local Board from the Ecclesiastical Commissioners for £12,000. It was taken over by the Corporation on October 31st, 1897. £7,000 more was added to £18,540, which had already been spent on the layout.
Gorgeous park. Kids loved the skatepark, though it does need some repairs. Really lovely though, and of course protective gear is a must! The little cafe is cute, with great prices and fill your water bottles for free. The playpark area has a lovely baby section as well as the older slides and climbing equipment. We had a great day out!
Beautiful park with a lake, tennis court, skate park, basketball court. You need to book the courts in advance if you wish to play a game. There is also a children's play area where the toddlers can have fun in a safe way. Currently, the lake is under maintenance and should be open shortly. EDIT - The lake is now open and the maintenance work is complete.
Love this park! Lovely place for a walk or run. The trees are beautiful right now. Looking forward to the works on the lake being completed soon. Secure Playground, cafe, skate park, tennis courts, lake, basketball court. Bowling. Free parking for 3 hours.
A really lovely park with practically everything you could want when out with children..the little play park with tunnel slide, swings, accessible swings, see-saw, climbing frame, bins and benches...there's tennis courts, a food kiosk, toilets, paths for walking, scooting, riding bikes. the pond with ducks, the very family friendly skate park...was a lush morning out
