   I have been using Cowlick Road garage for about 8 years now, and passed MOT every year. All I can say is I was lucky to find this garage. A breath of fresh air to find a totally genuine, honest garage with sincere customer care. They have always done their best to solve any problems at the lowest cost with the genuine best parts.    Excellent service . I booked a full service and MOT and was kept informed every step of the way. The cost was fair and in line with what I was quoted. As a single woman it was so nice to not feel ripped off as you can do in so many other garages. This will be my go to place going forward. I can highly recommend.

   I had a fantastic experience with Colwick Road Garage and can’t thank them enough for their honesty, clear communication, and professionalism. After being told by a Citroen dealership that my Citroen C3 wasn’t safe to drive due to the anti roll bar being damaged and would cost a fortune to fix, I brought it to Colwick Road Garage for a second opinion. They took the time to inspect it properly and reassured me that the car was actually safe to drive. The issue was nowhere near as serious as I’d been told, it just needed tightening, not replacing. What really stood out to me was their communication throughout. They explained everything clearly, kept me updated, and didn’t try to pressure me into anything unnecessary. It was a huge relief after my experience with the Citroen dealership. Massive shoutout to Steve for his honesty and support, he made the whole process stress-free and made me feel like I was in safe hands. It’s so rare to find a garage that genuinely puts the customer first. Highly recommend Colwick Road Garage to anyone looking for a trustworthy, no-nonsense mechanic. I’ll definitely be going back!

   Dishonest MOT service – charged me £25 for wiper blade replacement that wasn’t done. My original Nissan metal wipers were swapped for broken plastic ones, and they falsely claimed mine were damaged. Avoid this garage. I took my car in for an MOT, and they called to say it had failed because the wiper blades were "damaged" and needed replacing. I was surprised, as my wipers were original Nissan metal ones in good condition. When I went to collect the car, they showed me a pair of cheap, broken plastic wipers and claimed those were mine. In reality, they never replaced the wipers — just tried to charge me for something that wasn’t needed.

   Service at this garage is absolutely top notch. They go out their way to help their customers and the pricing is more than reasonable. Huge thank you to Steve for helping me through a recent issue with my BMW, he really went above and beyond what I'd expect and I really appreciated it. Can't recommend these guys enough!

   Absolutely brilliant - fitted me in at really short notice - booked for interim service but only charged me a quarter of original quote as didnt need everything doing - also fixed constantly on warning light and showed me how to do myself! Plus they have a female mechanic! Best garage ever!

   I don't usually write reviews but the outstanding service I received here warrants one. Had an issue with my car, went to some other garages who just spoke alot of horse poo. I rang this garage and the guy said even though he's very busy today I can bring my car for him to have a look. The guy was friendly, and thoroughly checked the issue for me for free and gave very honest advice and a very good quote for some work. A true gentleman. The main issues I have with garages are honesty, timings, and customer service. My experience here was perfect, very welcoming and very honest. (Power steering issue)
