   After seeing so many positive reviews, I booked my old Ford Focus in for a full service and MOT at Smith Garage — and I’m really glad I did. Julian handled everything from start to finish, and his professionalism and expertise stood out right away. He clearly knows cars inside and out, and he took the time to explain exactly what was needed and why. There was no upselling, no pressure, and absolutely no unnecessary work — just honest, skilled service. The price was very reasonable for the work done. A week later, I can genuinely feel a noticeable improvement in how the car drives — it’s smoother, more responsive, and just feels better overall. Julian is a credit to his trade.    Julian is a brilliant mechanic! His knowledge and experience really shows in his service. I had my car booked in for suspension bushes and new tyres. Julian did a great job with the bushes (saving money replacing the bushes and not the entire arm like the high street garages) and picked out tyres that suited my needs and budget just from asking me a few questions about the type of driving I do. He also replaced my front bulb that blew that week after booking it in. Will 100% be bringing my car back for repairs in the future. The total price of all the work came to less than the high street garages for a fraction of the job.

   Julian is very nice and professional, answering all my enquiries and gives me useful suggestions. Very reasonable price for the parts and labour hours. Guarantee are included for services and car parts (depending on which car parts you are fixing). Really recommend !!

   I took my car here for an MOT and service for the first time late last year. The service and knowledge here is brilliant - I was asked about what had been done on the last service so that no pointless bits were re-done and I could avoid the associated costs. When my partner dropped me off to collect my car, he mentioned that he had a small issue with his car and they had a quick look at it and fixed it with no charge. Really really recommend this place, great service, done when they said it would be done, fair prices and friendly people.
