Had a coat dry cleaned at the cost of £20!! When I got it home it had a hole in it which wasn't there before because it's only been worn once. Staff unfriendly and very expensive. When I called to discuss this she was rude and put me on hold. Do not use this dry cleaners. My coat is ruined.
This dry cleaners is never open, I have come down to collect my dry cleaning on 4 occasions during the opening hours on their website only to find it closed for a myriad of reasons. Most recently a post it note that said ‘back in 15 minutes’. After waiting for over 20 I gave up and will have to come back another time. Anyone can understand it happening once, but it happens regularly.
The prices are high, the service is underwhelming and worst of all a large car (LL20-) appears to be so badly parked on a regular basis that its rear is on the pavement making it hard to pass (in particular for wheelchairs/mobility vehicles). This needs to change.
I must be particularly unlucky because I have used Dry Ice only twice but each time they have ruined my clothes. Most recently I left a new skirt with them which had been folded so the pleats needed re-pressing. They pressed the pleats out, tried to tell me it was because the skirt was old and had been sat in, told me they would message once they fixed it (but they didn’t), a month went by, they said it had been sent away to be fixed, another 3 weeks, I called again and they said I could come and collect. It was not fixed, the pleats are ruined on half of the skirt. No apology, no refund, no suggestion they could do any more. Avoid, I wish I had.
I need to refresh my duvet and it was a great experience as I never had one before. I dropped my duvet in the morning Mon and should be ready on Wednesday but I got txt on Tuesday saying is ready☺️ so I think was less then 24h to get kings size duvet to refresh. But I think I got lucky even though 2 days is not long to wait. So yes I was amazed with this. And two lovely ladies are there.
I’ve used “dry ice” over a number of months now and I’ve always found them very professional in their service. Last time I had some alterations made which were undertaken very promptly and then delivered by the time promised as I needed for an appointment. I would recommend highly their service to others.

Always a great service received from Dry Ice Dry Cleaners in Shortlands. They clean my husbands suits and iron his work shirts perfectly in no time at all which he is always really pleased with as am I as it saves me ironing them all! They are very friendly and affordable and also offer pickup and delivery if required. I would highly recommend Dry Ice.
I needed my black winter coat cleaned for a family funeral and at short notice my coat was collected, cleaned and delivered the next day in time for the funeral at no extra cost other than the cleaning cost. It was nice to have the choice of either a steam clean or dry clean. A dry clean was carried out and I was very pleased with the result as the coat is quite old. It is good to know they can do steam cleaning as for certain items this may be the preferred option. Thank you to Jay and all at Dry Ice for excellent service and prompt attention. I have no hesitation in recommending Dry Ice to friends, family and neighbours.
READ UPDATE: Really disappointed- had three suits dry cleaned with a whole other bunch of stuff. The suits have come back with significant creases and crumples all over the jacket and trousers. It’s as though it’s just been done for the sake of it without any checks.. UPDATE: Junayd the owner personally reached out to me and got this sorted out. Had a voucher back and he ensured all suits were fixed.. Am impressed with the level of service and commitment even when things don’t go as planned!
