Taken my car here twice now after a friend recommended them. Not only well pried but they give advice and go above and beyond. Also saved me on future issues / costs that I would have had if I went to an “official dealer” as well. Top marks from me
I'd highly recommend CarTek to anyone. I dont live in Nottingham anymore but i wouldn't take my car to anyone else. My clutch had suddenly gone and the guys at CarTek got my car sorted within the day. Couldn't thank them enough Thankyou Again.
Took my car to this garage which came recommended to me by another garage who could not sort my PDF problem,,,yeah they sorted the problem and carried out the necessary work ,,,and maybe the most enjoyable thing that the price was £80 cheaper that there first estimate,, and for me they we're all so pleasant and friendly,, also made me a fresh cup of tea. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Car was sent here by my mechanic as it was a fairly big/ specialist job - I was sceptical at first having heard nothing about CarTek. They did a really thorough job with the car, even cleaned it for me and stayed late. Highly reccomend :)

Very helpful and friendly no problems. I brought my car in to have some rust and rot welded and I was shown what was wrong and what work was needed and given a quote and a timeline. Cartek then done exactly what they said, they even done a little extra few tweak still charged the initial quote. The car was even cleaned when I got it back. Great bit of work
Perfect service like always. Very friendly and better value than most, the cost for for the work I had done was a third cheaper than the main dealer wanted and all completed on time and with a smile.
How to summarise the awful experience, I've used the same garage for years, unfortunately the mechanic had a death in the family so I was struggling to get the MOT sorted in time. I ended up using a recommended garage from people who live in our local village (the owner lives in our village) thinking they'd look after us I took a gamble and booked in. Oh how wrong I was. CarTek failed the car on it's MOT and gave me a run down of the rationale over the phone. 1. New break disc and pads required. 2. headlights not aligned. For parts and labour he quoted £425. I asked for a breakdown, he informed me £190 for parts and the rest labour. I'm no mechanic but have friends and a little bit of common sense within the industry, I know to adjust headlights takes a few minutes with an Allen key and the usual going rate for a disc and pad change is £50-60 a side. When challenged the garage on pricing he immediately said "we've got rent to pay" Long story short I paid for the MOT and went elsewhere, the next garage told me the discs/pads weren't a fail but as the previous MOT had been registered they recommended we proceeded with this anyway. The other garage ended up charging me £330 for the SAME work! Avoid this garage at all costs, clearly an empty garage struggling to pay bills and robbing people blind. I hate writing these reviews as I know it can damage a business but I also hate people who try and rob folk blind, be honest, humble and decent and your business will thrive!
I had water pump and timing belt and full service however I supplied the parts and I struggled to find a garage that would carry out the work because of this. These guys did carry out the work and done a fantastic job and great value for money. Very professional. Definitely using these guys again.
