   Lovely lady took my details for MOT in 3 weeks time with a courtesy car. This morning (25/10/22),the morning of the MOT I arrived on time at 9am to find that there was nobody on reception, just a mechanic who I had to wait for whilst he finished what he was doing, although it was only a few minutes. He told me they didn't have a courtesy car because of reasons, and that he tried to call me last night but the number didn't work, on checking the booking the lovely lady had missed a digit out of my mobile number. This was inconvenient, it is too far to walk home and I can't wait there all day for them to do the MOT. I just left and told them I would find somewhere else. I am sure this is a minor thing but it was really inconvenient. I found somewhere closer but I can't get the car done until next week which means it is now off the road, fortunately I have another to use. Copying the number down is a simple mistake, but you either have a courtesy car or you don't, you don't say you have one when you don't. I am not interested in excuses as to why it's not available, that does not keep my car on the road. I would suggest they use a login system to take personal details, rather than a pen and notebook, this would have flagged up that the number was missing a digit, and I would also suggest they sort out their courtesy cars so that there is always one available when they say it will be. I won't be using them again.

   Helped me out with a car issue at short notice and did a great job. Has done work on another car of mine of a high standard and fair rates. Don't mistake old building for poor work as in this case they do not go together, give them a chance.
