I have been going here for years and having regular treatment 2-3 times a year. When I tried to rebook I was told I had to wait as they were being taken over by new management and to call back in a month or so. When I called back I've been advised that they no longer take paid NHS appointments and have effectively struck me off, leaving me without dental care. The cost of dental care has now more than tripled since becoming a Bupa facility. Absolute money-grabbing, corporate hustlers. The state of this country, we're becoming like America with privatised health care and no more NHS dentists in Nottingham. How can this be allowed to happen? It's disgusting.

If I could give 0 stars i would! After going for a check up and finding out my 13 year old needed a filling.. side note we go for check ups every 6 months and all my children have been told they had great teeth, I was told at this appointment my eldest has had a bad tooth a long time and the previous dentist we used to see at the same clinic never dealt with the issue. On the date of the filling my daughter was very nervous, going into the room Luis Martin ( the dentist) and his dentist assistant didn’t say one word to my daughter. She was clearly getting worked up and for a whole 15 minutes she was ignored. When it came down to opening her mouth she did cry. The dentist huffed rolled his eyes threw his gloves off and said he works for the nhs he doesn’t get paid enough for this. He also told my daughter she was eating into his lunch break. I was absolutely shocked. This made my daughter worse all she needed was someone to run her through what would happen but they were absolutely awful with her. the dentist then said ‘ last chance sit back now or I’m going to refer you and they will just pull your tooth out ‘ And to top it off when we had finished and in reception he walked past and punched a locker which was open They’ve now just sent me a follow up appointment with the same dentist which I will be cancelling and going elsewhere. This man was absolutely awful, rough with my daughter pulling at her face aggressively , angry, miserable and I’m truly lost for words about my experience

I get extremely anxious and panicky when the dreaded check up is due. The staff here are brilliant. Dr Martin and his friendly colleague really helped me today and understood my fears. I had a pain free clean of the teeth and am smiling again. I am reassured for my next visit in 6 months.

Even though sometimes there is a long wait to be seen, it is still one of the best providers locally for dental care and treatments.

I can not fault this practice at all. The staff have always been friendly and understanding. I personally get anxious when going to the dentist but am made to feel reassured and comfortable.

I’ve been coming to RP dentist ever since I was a child and slowly but surely the service has just got worse. The receptionists are lovely (they’re definitely the 2 stars here) but the dentist I had has been rude consistently during my last two visits. No polite greeting, poor communication, mumbling and unclear on the treatment. Pulling me about without any directions of what’s coming or why. 5 minute service, for £28 to be told I need a filling (I told them this on the phone) - this will be the third replacement for the same filling. I’m just dreading it already! The dentist is a stressful time for people regardless but the manner in which patients are spoken to really needs serious improvements.

I had been with this dentist for years and they struck me off because I hadn't been for for a while. I had to cancel a few appointments because of work commitments and then the pandemic hit. Time just flew by. I did not receive a warning letter or phone call. I called to book a check up and hygienist appointment only to be told that I am no longer registered. The receptionist was very rude as usual. I am now registered with another Dentist and I am very pleased with the service so far. Thank you for your reply regarding my complaint. I was registered with your Practice under my married name. ( Davison) I have no desire to discuss this any further. I gave an honest review about my last call to you.
