   I visited Gilnahirk Tyres today. I have to say the staff need some training in customer service or get a job they like. They are sullen and dour. It felt like they were doing me a favour by taking my business, but the most annoying thing was, when I got out to my car I couldn't even touch the steering wheel, it was filthy, either from dirt or oil. Luckily I had industrial wipes in the car and cleaned the wheel before I could drive off. These people need to realise, they are providing a service, which people are paying good money for. At the very least they should pretend they are happy to see customers !!

   Similar to what others have recently said, they use to be great but going downhill now. I asked for a MOT check and it took them 1.5 days of having my car to say it wasn’t worth doing any work due to the cars age and putting it through MOT to see what fails. It failed because of small issues like a ball joint so either they don’t know what they are doing or they never actually checked my car. They also don’t bother to update you if they plan to keeping your car longer than expected. In future they should tell you if they are too busy to take on the work as I could have had it repaired elsewhere in a fraction of the time.

   Would be vary wary of taking my car back here, myself and a few family members all had issues with our cars after services were completed by this garage. They attempted to fix mistakes made on my siblings car which caused further issues. The car was taken elsewhere to be fixed which doubled the original price. A screw driver was also left under the bonnet of my car after a service! Such a shame as I would have recommended this garage to anyone needing work done but it’s a different story now. Would rather be safe than sorry!

   Brilliant customer service. My car needed new back brakes to pass it's MOT. Gilnahirk Tyres were able to do the work the next day and take the car to the Test Centre for me. Total cost was extremely reasonable and the service I received from William and his team was terrific. Old fashioned professional courteous customer service rarely found these days. I will definately be using their services again as will all my family from now on. Brilliant service.

   We have been using Gilnahirk tyres for over 15 yrs and have always had 5 star treatment for our family cars. William and his team are so helpful even when it is super busy, and give great additional advice to keep your tyres lasting longer. I recently had brake discs and pads replaced with them and they were a fraction of the dealership prices - fantastic.

   Very bad experience I went on at 2.30 in the afternoon for an MOT check I had a lift to back home as I prefer not to wait there and after 2 and a half hours the car was not done.I left phone number but they didn't call to let me know so when I get there at 5 o'clock my car was still there not checked yet. Very poor communication. Unreliable people and not professionals.

   Have always got tires fixed here. Always very reasonable prices and quick service. Does get busy but that's a positive for me as I would rather go to a busy place than somewhere who is not busy. Keep up the good work

   Absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend Gilnahirk Tyres enough. They are so friendly and so efficient. My exhaust needed a weld repair and so I had this done on a Wednesday. They were very quick and efficient and good value, however; on Friday my car ended up making the same noise. Took it back on Saturday morning (expecting them to be too busy to look), they re welded the exhaust a second time so quick and so friendly about it all. I will be going here for anything I need !!!
