   A great, reliable mechanic. Usually book in a couple of weeks in advance, but he can have your car that morning, diagnosed, parts ordered and fitted and ready by late afternoon! While a VW group specialist, he isn't just VW group cars, he does great work on our other car too.

   I booked service for the 18th of June and left the car there 2 weeks before (the 4th) as my car wasn't running well. I asked him if he would be able to fix the problem and he told me so confident he would. I told him I was working as a delivery driver and that it was my main source of income. I rang today ( the 19th when it was scheduled for yesterday) he just put the phone down. Rang again and no answer. I went there he told me he wasn't able to do anything with the car as when he tested it there was no issue. The car let me down on my way home after taking it out of the garage. I had to pay for a recovery service, had my car there for two weeks for nothing (with no incomes). Is there any way to manage this situation worse? Does this guy know that people need to pay bills, taxes, rent etc? Reckless.

   left the porsche in before winter as she wasnt running right. I didnt need the car so Terry stored the car for 4 months of which i was v grateful for. I knew he was totally trustworthy and probably excellent value. Comp right on both counts. An oil filer cap at £69 pounds ! No charge for storage in a warm secure unit for the entire winter. In an age of increasing costs for all of us it was refreshing to see old fashioned standards still apply. V much a gentleman and the car trade will be the loss for people like Terry upon retirement. jpd

   Car had to be taken in by the AA. Even though they had a full schedule they still did their best to fit it in. Price was probably slightly more expensive than I was expecting but I was happy to get the work done.

   Went recently to get an electronic issue fixed in my Golf, they were very quick and kept me up to date with the process of identifying issue and purchasing and installation of the replacement sensor. Fairly priced and Terry is a nice guy and welcoming to new customers.
