My mum and I came here for a Sunday carvery, the staff were friendly and food was very tasty would definitely go again .
so friendly and welcoming, great staff really made this an enjoyable experience, as for the food WOW!! we started with mexican spring rolls(sensational)and BBQ pork belly bites(succulent) we then enjoyed a nice pint of amstel whilst we waited for the main event and let me tell you what an event!!! 16oz sirloin on the lava rock.....my god she sizzled it was beautiful, accompanied with all the trimmings the side salad was lovely,i was particularly impressed with the options of dressing for the side salad top marks for that, my partner had the chicken schnitzel which she said was outstanding, had nice crunch as she bit into it, the crumbs really complimented the chicken. i will 100% be back the food here has always been great there carverys are not spoken about often enough.

The landlady and landlord have turned that place around. What amazing people. Great atmosphere, awesome food and great value for money. A family pub where children are welcome. Live music, friendly people. Well worth dropping in whether its for a quick half or for somewhere to post up for the night. They can handle large parties too no problem. Top drawer
