I bought a used Carbtune 2 (the older one, not the Carbtune Pro) without a manual. I disassembled it to clean it and reassembled the four rods and springs haphazardly. I didn't realize I wasn't supposed to mix them up. What do I do now? Is there any way to readjust it?
I purchased the Carbtune Pro 2 from a German retailer. I had a question beforehand and contacted morgan directly. It was answered within two hours – thanks again for that! The tester works perfectly! Removing the tank, in my case the airbox, and connecting an external fuel line takes longer than the synchronization itself! My carburetors (V-twin) had just been ultrasonically cleaned and were therefore out of adjustment. Synchronization took less than five minutes! Highly recommended – definitely 5 stars!
Spent 3 or 4 days trying to balance carbs with a 4 gauge set, gave up and brought the Morgan Carbtune Pro (after a tip from Honda VFR Owners group on Facebook) and 10 mins later all sorted. Great bit of kit!
