Unfortunately it seems Old Tree nature centre have stolen two Green Iguanas from our rescue centre. Marc answered an ad where we were rehoming the two green iguanas from our rescue. It clearly stated there was a rehome fee, as well as it being discussed. We drove a 4 hour round trip to drop them off and were told to send an invoice for the fee to be paid. Such a shame but in the several weeks that have followed they have ignored emails, messages and calls from us. Leaving me with the conclusion that they have no intention to pay it. Our rescue relys on rehome fees to operate so to have a seemingly professional place steal from us is despicable. I will gladly remove this review if the fee is paid but at this point it seems unlikely. I am very disappointed.

Absolutely brilliant place. Jon and his daughter were so accommodating and were brilliant with our two young children. Ran by down to earth people who have a passion for what they do. They have time for you and will make any necessary adjustments that may be required. We had our own personal tour and ventured into many of the animal enclosures, not many sanctuary’s / nurseries give you this opportunity or personal touch. In summary this was a gem of a find and we will be back. They do offer adoption services and greatly receive any donations, all of which makes a huge difference and goes towards the upkeep of the animals.

We had a great day today. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable, and really take the time to answer any questions you have. The place looks beautiful and it really allows you to get up close to the animals. We will definitely be returning and couldn’t recommend this place enough. They have a wide variety of animals and wildlife. It’s quiet and a great place to take our service users where they can feel safe and happy

Visited here for the first time mother's day and me and my 2 children had a wonderful time. As the centre is for families of children with additional needs it helps families engage too. Met some new families too which was amazing. Tyler was very patient with my children and can see he and everyone else love their job there too.

We had fantastic family day out!! fantastic!! My 6 years old daughter was besides herself :). she could feed animals, stroke them and it was great to hear a story which all those pure, rescued animals have. Tina and Mark dedicated their lifes to those animals so please PLEASE help them out and visit!!

We took the kids 3 & 11 to see the animals, all of which were rescue, the girls had a great time feeding all of the animals. Each animal had their own little story of how they came to be. Tina was very informative and Mark was very welcoming, in fact all of the staff were. Great little play area. Great work being done at the sanctuary for both the animals and children with special needs. Well done!!!
