   Friday 5th December 2025 I was asked by someone in the lord high Admiral plymouth real ale pub if id review this pub which has hot only Doom Bar tonight on hand pump I went in This is to say the least a lively locals pub with good bar staff and excellent vibrant music on the locals are a happy no nonsense crowd The pub is a 1 roomed 1960s feel to it Darts is a big thing in here and i would have hive this pub 5 stars if it had got 2 hand pulled ales on Great propper pub Long may they remain

   We were at a nearby venue and wanted a new atmosphere and holy hell The Tradesmans was so much fun. The band playing was great and the staff fantastic. Definitely say gogogogo

   Rude arrogant old man behind the bar with glasses. Puts me off returning. He needs to learn people skills. Delivering a pint to a dinosaur at the table who pays cash. Took him about ten minutes to count the pennies and then go back with her change. Deliberately kept me waiting. I was about to buy a big round. Went Melbourne instead where you're welcomed and not sneered at.

   The welcome in the Tradesmans pub was really lovely. The customers were really very nice people n so was the ladies darts team. Scrummy food too. A lovely evening was had by all n we cant wait for the return match.
