   Paid £2.5 k for an engine ‘refurb’ that was supposed to take a few months. After multiple let downs (one time the car was ‘ready’, I booked mot / insurance only to be told there was an issue as I was about to leave to pick it up). Finally got my vehicle back after 8 (eight) months. Engine warning light after a few days - Brennans stated couldn’t get part (glow plug) & never heard back from him. Took it elsewhere and the part was sourced within the day. Engine stopped after 1000 miles - bottom end engine failure and clutch failure. Brennans stated clutch was ‘wear and tear’ and not related to their work. Don’t have the time or any confidence to have them look at my vehicle again.

   Just over a year ago now, my much loved Golf 4 tdi, that's been serving me faithfully for literally 17 years finally stopped. A broken rear engine block mount meant the engine became unsupported and tilted slightly, pressing against the timing belt. Belt was damaged and as a result jumped couple of teeth causing the dreaded head damage. Of course everyone said that it wasn't worth repairing but it was to me. I needed someone who I could trust and was advised to give it to Brennan's. The work was first class I have to say and for the last year since the repair its been going like a dream, so happy that I made the decision to give it to a competent mechanic. The broken engine block bracket btw was replaced with a bespoke one, hand made utilising spare mount holes in the block, great job! Bottom line is I wouldn't hesitate to use Brennan's again as my experience was good honest work. Nathan

   My KIA Sorrento was brought to Brennans Repair Centre with a seized engine which required a complete rebuild. Nevin assured me that he would have it back on the road and as good. Not only did he stick to his word but he kept me informed of progress along the way and was always willing to talk me through any queries. The car seemed like a lost cause at the start but now is running better than ever. I would highly recommend Brennans to any friends and family.
