I can’t speak highly enough of H&H Recovery after our recent experience in Ireland! After a month of traveling in our motorhome, we unfortunately broke down on our last day. Our recovery company stated they could get us back to Sussex (over 500 miles), but there was a lot of confusion and conflicting information. Thankfully, I got a call from Paul, the MD of H&H Recovery, who immediately understood the urgency of the situation. He didn’t believe that we would be able to drive our motorhome onto the ferry as the clutch wasn’t working so we wouldn’t be able to board. He was absolutely right! Not being locals, we had no idea which garage could accommodate our large motorhome, especially since it happened late on a Friday night when everyone was closed until Monday. Paul came to the rescue, agreeing to recover our vehicle, and sent the wonderful Charlie to assist us. His commitment to helping us get back on track was beyond anything we could have hoped for. Knowing the challenges of being stranded away from home, Paul got us to his depot, where he went above and beyond. Not only did he securely park our motorhome, but he also hooked us up to electricity, provided water, and allowed us to empty our toilet cassette. He even offered us access to his Wi-Fi! On Monday, while the repairs were being made, his daughter kindly drove us to Belfast for the day. It was touch and go with parts, but his team worked diligently and finished the repairs by 7pm, taking our motorhome for a thorough test drive to ensure everything was running perfectly. I cannot thank Paul, Charlie, and the entire H&H Recovery team enough for their exceptional service. They truly went above and beyond the call of duty, and we are incredibly grateful.
