   Horrendously bad customer experience. 1) May 2023 paid £645 to have a faulty BDC replaced and programmed. 2) Had car in for a total of six weeks across 8 months - each time Darren insisted it would be fixed when I picked it up - it wasn’t. 3) February 2024 Darren finally confessed he was unable to programme the replacement BDC. 4) When I asked about some sort of refund he refused and replied, “that’s life”. Other problems: Can never get in contact with them . Will open and close at whatever time they choose. Darren repeatedly lied about the problems he was having programming the BDC - he stated it was a faulty part from the supplier and that it had to be sent back for repairs on four separate occasions before finally confessing that he couldn’t programme it. I was also told that an electrical harness had been fitted which I’ve since found out wasn’t the case. Dishonest and unreliable- the worst combination - avoid at all costs.

   Darren has maintained my 2010 5 series F10 for 6 years. Excellent work always, has diagnosed and sorted some awkward problems for me as well as the usual maintenance. Also kept my daughters 1 Series in good order. Would thoroughly recommend !

   Not reliable, bad customer service. They are hard to contact, don't answer the phone and open and close at whatever hours they choose, not the listed hours. Do not recomend them. The car was left to be looked at as the engine check light was showing. Told me they'd call me back at 3pm. Took the day off since I need the car to do my job. Didn't get a call back so went to the location, turns out they had closed early with my car inside. Left serval voice mails and called multiple times, did not get a call back until after 10 am the next day. Refused to tell me what they had done to the car or what was wrong. Incredibly bad customer experience.

   Car broke down, brought it here left it for 2 months, didn't get any reply, eventually called in. Told me fuel pump had degraded internally and iron filings had got into the injectors and quoted me over a thousand pounds to fix. Wanted a second opinion so towed it to another mechanic, after a second diagnosis, it turned out the DPF was blocked up. AVOID

   Darren and his team repaired a fault on our BMW 420d Convertible roof whilst also completing a vehicle check and brake wear indicator fault. All in record time and having requested a short notice appointment. People fear the cost of service and repair on BMW, but with Independent Specialists like DW, I have found that you don't have to pay the earth for quality, good customer service and fast turn around. If you have a BMW or Mini in the Ballyclare area, there is definitely no better garage to look after your pride and joy. Thanks again.

   Excellent independent car workshop. Darren is a qualified BMW mechanic with wide experience of a range of other cars. He has done a lot of work for our family all first rate from routine servicing to major work like replacing a clutch and flywheel. He is fair and trustworthy. I can highly recommend this workshop.
