I had a very disappointing experience at this shop. As someone who doesn’t know much about car batteries, I felt talked down to and pressured into paying for things I wasn’t sure I needed. The staff didn’t take the time to explain what the actual issue was and kept insisting on the most expensive option without offering alternatives.
Really helpful and knowledgeable people, sorted me out with some new campervan leisure batteries (their own AVON batteries which are a great price) and even put them in for me. Thanks!

Needed some help to get a 6v battery filled and charged after a purchase online. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I left the battery with BBL for 24 hours, picked up the next day all charged and ready to go. If you need batteries, don't bother with Halfords etc, go straight to these guys!

100% recommend BBL in Plymouth. We discovered that the battery on our camper van was flat. Managed to get it going, went to BBL, they tested the battery and replaced it there and then with no charge for fitting. The very helpful and friendly guy answered a couple of other questions we had and was just brilliant in every way. Also the price was more than fair. 10/10
Just had my powered wheelchair batteries changed, and they were fantastic. Very grateful. Did all the work, changed the batteries, and worked hard to correct a slight problem with my wheelchair when fitting them. Nice people, and I will be using them again.
