Day trip to Worcester Christmas market last week was amazing. Our coach driver was on time friendly helpful and professional.we were told everything we needed to know for safety and instructions on travel ect.
Following an awful break to Ilfracombe. I would never book with Plimbleys again. Hotel was of a poor quality. Brochure advertised it as refurbished but only the downstairs had been renovated. The bedrooms were pretty awful. Breakfast was good but the evening meal choices were very basic. Some guests even ate out at Wetherspoons. Brochure also said a trip on the Lynton and Barnstaple railway would pass through countryside with picture perfect views of the coastline. The train journey was about a mile long and no coastline to be seen. A complete waste of time. So many brochure inaccuracies. I feel like we have been ripped off as the 4 night break cost us £565 each. We have been given £40 each in compensation which is far too low for the horrible time we had. Many guests were complaining to the driver so we were not alone with our complaints. Complete rip off!
Recently returned from a faultless holiday in Newtonmore. Hotel was clean, staff were efficient and friendly, food was delicious. Excursions were varied and interesting. Coach was comfortable. Steve our driver was second to none....brilliant. Also we have just called the office to ask if we could make changes to a forthcoming holiday. Plimbleys couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating and sorted everything we wanted. Thank you. Superb travel company.

Went to Blackpool in 2021 and was supposed to be in Blackpool for 10am and leave at 6pm we got Blackpool at 2:00pm and the driver told us we have 2 hours to spend in Blackpool it is a ripped off we payed £70 to go and we got to Blackpool late because the driver kept on stopping for the toilet and we had to stop in Penkridge To let the people off who was going to Southport onto an another Coatch and after they were all left off the driver stayed there for ages with me and the people who were going to Blackpool . The driver was so rude definitely won’t be using this travel service agian

Overall, the experience was great. Rachel and Steve were very kind. My visit to bath was lovely. I would prefer a slightly later return time as there's only so much you can do, however I can just book to go again to explore a bit more. Some changes need to be made to the online booking system. I booked late night the day before the trip and in my confirmation email it didn't give an actual postcode for the location of pick up or drop off point, just a description. Also, it didn't state a time of departure from the pick up nor return time. Luckily, I managed to find this out by messaging Plimbley on Facebook, but all this information should be included in the email and online before even booking. Those are my only concerns, but I will be travelling with Plimbley frequently! I do recommend. ☺️
