I have been going to Ewan for a number of years for a haircut and he always delivers a professional, friendly service; he takes the time to understand the hairstyle I am after and I always leave feeling really happy with the end result.
Recently had a great experience at Burns Hair Design, Keyworth. Harriet is an amazing, knowledgeable hair stylist and colourist. The whole experience and customer service was first rate.
Ewan has been cutting my hair for a number of years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I get lots of compliments about my hair and often get asked what salon I use. Ewan’s cutting skills are excellent. I have very thick, straight hair and he cuts my hair so well. I always leave very happy with my colour and cut. My daughter has visited Harriet for a cut and advice on colour and been very pleased with the results. I highly recommend this salon.
I moved to Keyworth in early 2022 and initially used another hairdresser but after several cuts recognised that I needed to find another hair stylist. I made an appointment with Ewan at Burns Hair Design which turned out to be a great move. I was really happy with the cut Ewan did for me and I have been returning ever since. I cannot recommend Ewan highly enough. He has great hairdressing abilities, is very welcoming, friendly and easy to chat with.
Ewan has been styling my hair for over 30 years now and I have travelled to his salon from wherever I have lived in the county! Ewan takes a pride in his work and gives great attention to detail. Still can't find anyone who can cut my hair as well as Ewan even though I've lived 160 miles away since the turn of the century, I keep visiting regularly for Ewan's skill and care and minimal chit-chat!
It's 22 years since I left Nottingham, but I still haven't found a better hair cutter.So, evey couple of months I make the 300 mile round trip and enjoy basking in the compliments about how great my hair looks - it falls into shape without much effort, or over-use of styling products or heat.

I have been using the professional services of the family, for a number of years. They are honest and go that one step further for you. I have never been disappointed. Ever! One thing I would recommend is that you use/buy salon shampoo/conditioner.
Have been having my hair cut at Burns for a number of years. Would definitely recommend. Always happy with how Harriet cuts my hair. My mum used to love her weekly visits to get her hair done with Ewan too. Nothing is too much trouble, great family run business.
