I have taken my car for MOT & services or any work needed for a good number of years. I cannot fault anything about the work that has been carried out . The staff I have dealt with have always been polite helpful .

Excellent work. Two new tyres and tracking required only to find that the tracking rod was bent and needed replacing. Including ordering the part, it was only two hours from start to finish and at a very reasonable price. I’ve always had good service and they’ve been very helpful when I’ve been on a tight schedule.

When things go well everything is fine, however second year in a row where they don't take me because I am 7 minutes late. This year was next to halfords on time but due to traffic and no parking could not get into the office until 7 minutes after my appointment time. Was not seen for another 2 mins. Halfords guy, same as last year, did not care. not customer service at all. Tough luck, book in one months time. They don't care because it makes no difference to them if they have 50 MOTs or 4 - better if they have less. Prices are also ridiculous, for 2 sensors they quoted £1200, local shop quoted £700... IF everything is fine then they are fine enough, but if you have any sort of issue that would require flexibility then they don't care.

These guys have become my go-to-guys for anything car related. Always friendly, helpful, and honest, and despite the location not lending itself to ample parking and luxurious accomodation, always seem to be able to keep things moving swiftly and efficiently. Prices are very reasonable and I,v,e never had a bad job experience with them - unlike Vospers.......

JUST AVOID THIS PLACE. THEY JUST LIE AND DON'T DO THEIR JOBS PROPERLY. There are much better garages who are honest and respectful to you and your vehicle. I booked my car in for two new tyres at a particular time, going there expecting my tyres that i'd ordered a couple of days prior to be there and ready to put on - as i'd booked a specific time slot. At the time of booking, there was no notification that my tyres may not be there at the time I booked, it simply allowed me to book them to be fitted at the slot I chose. When I arrived at 9:20am, I was told my tyres were on a van the other side of Plymouth and as soon as they were there, they'd fit them. So reluctantly left the car with them, expecting into be about an hour. We ended up being stuck in Crownhill for 3 hours! I rang them to follow up, 2 hours after leaving the car to be told they were just be put on my car now and they'll call me back. 1 hour later, still no phone call so I went to call them back and a call came through from them. They told me the car was ready - great. 3 hours after leaving us stuck in Crownhill. I asked them on the phone to make sure the wheel nuts are tight as i'd had issues with a different garage previously. Their words 'they will be tightened to the manufacturer's recommended torque' (bare in mind here, the car doesn't have any locking wheel nuts, I told then when I dropped the car off it didn't have any and they would've noticed when doing the tyres). Under 20 miles later and i'm having to pull over and tighten then as my steering wheel started shaking violently. They told me to check after 50 miles. If i can't trust you to make sure my car is safe to drive then there's no way I will be visiting your garage again. Aside from this, the tyres are ideal, i'm currently aware that the balancing may not have been done correctly either despite me asking the guy to make sure it is balanced properly but until i get this checked, i don't know for certain. Ironically - Plympton National Tyres are fantastic and they're owned by Halfords! EDIT - Balancing only done on the driver's side front and put by 105! Hadn't even touched the passenger sode balancing. Caused alot of steering wheel shaking. Also BRAND NEW Goodyear Tyres - passenger side already damaged and unrepairable - no good under warranty as doubt it'll be replaced. And Halfords can stick their 'copy and paste' reply - leads to nothing and if you think i'm stupid enough to take my car back there then you must be delushional.

Having made an online appointment for a brake check, I wasn't pleased to have to leave the car with Halfords for 4 hours to get the job sorted. The work carried out and the interactions with staff were very good; I was told that the delays were due to a backlog of work from the day before.

Had to take my BMW X5 in due to a fault. Guys carried out a great job and the price for the works was very fair. Used a few times over the past 4 months for a few vehicles and have had An excellent service every time. Genuine guys who take the time to explain things in a friendly manner and would certainly recommend.
